Carpet Dye is Bleeding

I don't know how it happened but as I was cleaning my designer carpet the red from one part ran into the beige color. I have taken it to the carpet place but they wouldn't even look at it. Has anyone had to get red carpet dye out and how?

This webpage talks about removing red dye stains from carpet, but I would try it on a tiny, tiny area first to see what happens.
