1920's Themed WeddingJenny from MN Feedback About This Post:RE: 1920's Themed WeddingI myself am having a 1920s themed wedding. Pictures of the 1920s (buildings, cars, people, lounges, etc) set up look magnificent. Also, since the Alcohol Prohibition was in the 1920s, i had a cooler-transformed-into-a-clawfoot-tub set up with mini bottles of alcohol labelled "Prohibition of 1929". I have actually thought about having a 20's themed wedding myself. Were you planning a small or large wedding? If you are looking for something elegant an old fashioned looking, I would suggest neutral whites creams and soft pinks and greens for a color palate. If you want guests to dress in the style of the 20's I would say it in the invite, however if you want to avoid tacky fringed dresses, you may want to consider recommending places for them to get proper attire (websites, accurate costume rental places). I you want it outdoors, I have read about a lot of people with the same theme having it in a garden. I've also heard of having crochet as a reception entertainment which may be something for you to consider. There a couple of sites with some good ideas(and some bad): Post By Iris (Guest Post) RE: 1920's Themed Wedding
