I had an experience like this, for my 35th b-day.My daughter(who was 10,also),had made me a cake, too. It was a little dry,a little crispy where the two layers met,and it leaned a little to one side, but to me,it was the best cake I have ever eaten, because she made it,while I was working.I am now an grandma, and that is one of my special memories.
