Use Vinegar as a Natural Odor Eliminator

I buy a plain spray bottle and fill it up with Apple Cider Vinegar and when a nasty odor permeates the house, I use this. Put it on mist and smell how the odor disappears. You may smell vinegar at first, but then a freshness will override the vinegar. It's cheaper and healthier than the store-bought sprays!

Use white vinegar instead of apple cider. I use apple cider inside my body & white for whatever, outside my body. Apple cider is made from apples & leaves a slight residue, white doesn't white vinegar is good for those itchy places I sometimes get, that I can't seem to get to stop itching.. It's good for itchy scalp.

For the scalp, I use a 10 to 20% solution of white vinegar & H2O. That's like 1tsp (or 1-1/2tsp) of vinegar & 9tsp(or 8-1/2tsp) of water. I make up a large squeeze bottle of it & keep it in the shower. It untangles hair, too. It's great as an astringent for the face after washing & drying, closes all the pores. It's great for so many things.

When I wash my hands, after having really dirty or greasy hands & the soap or detergent is strong, after rinsing, I have white vinegar next to the sink in a pump bottle & i use a pump or 2 on my hands & wash my hands a little with it & then rinse. It equalizes the ph of my skin, so it doesn't fry out, it also removes any strong soap smell, even dish detergent.

WOW! ...I've heard of leaving a bowl of vinegar on the counter when you're cooking to eliminate odors, but I've never heard of spraying it in the air... It sounds like a good idea, I'll have to try it!

* I am wondering about if the vinegar might slowly ruin sensitive fabrics, like silk or velvet upholstery & the like, especially if it's mixed with the UV rays from sunshine... I'd think you'd need to be careful where you sprayed the mist, but it sure does sound like a wonderful & super-cheap idea & the price can't be beat!
