Ideas For Unique Wedding FavorsI'd like people to leave the wedding saying, did you see what they did for Tobey's wedding? Or that was the cutest thing I've ever seen for a wedding favor. Thanks in advance for the ideas. Sandie from Curtice, OH Feedback About This Post:RE: Ideas For Unique Wedding FavorsWe are getting married this October and what we are gonna do is make compact disks with our wedding music on them. Post By jenthehen77 (Guest Post) RE: Ideas For Unique Wedding FavorsHow about little bottles of bubbles? I just purchased some for my daughter's reception. I was able to buy 8 bottles in a box for only a $1.00 at the Dollar Store. I also bought at the Dollar Store monogrammed letters to stick unto the bottles. Post by 50something RE: Ideas For Unique Wedding FavorsMy daughter is going to have a candy station at her wedding. I am hoping it goes over well. Then she is putting a frame in the middle with a saying "how sweet it is to be loved by you". That way they can choose what candies they do like, but I do like all the unique ideas so far. Post By kellie (Guest Post) RE: Ideas For Unique Wedding FavorsFor my wedding we are making chocolates and then donating money to a charity that is close to us. Just a heads up 70% of all favours are either left behind or thrown out unless edible. So why not just save the money and give everyone a yummy snack with a tag saying thank you and telling them that a donation has been made in their honour. :-) Post By Meghan (Guest Post) RE: Ideas For Unique Wedding Favors
We are handing our CFL light bulbs with a note attached saying "Weve found the light of our lives, here's one for you!" Our wedding has a very eco friendly twist to it, and who CAN'T use a CFL? I want my guests to use the bulb to save some energy, save some money, and every time they turn it on I want them to think "haha lightbulb from the wedding!"-- Post By Enter your name. I am planning my fall wedding & have a small budget. Instead of vases for each table, I have asked friends to save me anything cyclinder shaped (crystal light containers, pringle potato chip cans, mailing tubes, etc), covering them in solid color wrappping paper. These are free except for wrapping paper. If you collect enough, 3 of different sizes on each table looks for pleasing design wise. rather than fresh flowers, I purchases (1/2 price) at Hobby Lobby the tall natural product, ting-ting, which looks somewhat like corkscrew willow but much cheaper. These in the cyliders look very modern/architecural. Post by queenginger RE: Ideas For Unique Wedding Favors
For my sisters wedding, we wrapped herseys kisses with werthers candies together with a note saying "Werthers kisses, there's love. Thank you from the Mr. and Mrs." Post By Karen (Guest Post) RE: Ideas For Unique Wedding FavorsWe bought a flat of treelings. They were spruce I think. Very inexpensive! We wrapped the roots in saran wrap, attached a bow and gave one to each guest for them to plant. Many guests still talk of our wedding trees. This is unique and affordable. Buy some matchboxes and empty the match sticks. Use scrapbooking paper and embellishments to decorate the boxes and put a mini-chocolate bar inside. It fits perfect. The ways to decorate them would be endless. Post By suzi_homemaker01 (Guest Post) RE: Ideas For Unique Wedding FavorsMy cousin took small glass flowerpots, about 2 or 3" she put some small pebbles in the bottom and a small amount of wild flower seeds in netting on top of the rocks. They attached a little poem about planting the flowers and thinking of the couple when they come up. I'm sorry I don't remember the poem. But was so cute and inexpensive. Post by jillian357 RE: Ideas For Unique Wedding FavorsI don't know if you would necessarily consider this a favor, but it went over great at our wedding. We put disposable cameras on each table and asked our guests to take snapshots of each other and things happening at the reception that our photographer might not get. Our guests just loved it and we got some really funny, special and memorable pictures. We had doubles made and I sent a picture of the guest along with the thank you card for their wedding gift. That took a lot of extra time, but it was something different. Post by youngster8 RE: Ideas For Unique Wedding FavorsHomemade apple butter, jellies, calendars of the current year with photo of bride and groom. Red, white and blue colors could be used because of the July 4th holiday. Post By JC (Guest Post) RE: Ideas For Unique Wedding Favors
Oriental Trading Company has a lot of affordable ideas for party favors. I used the candy wrappers that said, "Welcome to our wedding". I also go bubbles and clappers and personalized them myself. I also used wine goblets, (I gathered from yard sales and thrift stores) and put silver tinsel in them, glass decorative marbles would be pretty or candles would be pretty too! Good luck! There have been many good ideas posted by others on here! Post By Karen Lawson (Guest Post) RE: Ideas For Unique Wedding FavorsI am using cookie cutters but I also liked stir spoons (plastic spoons dipped in chocolate like for your coffee), Cookies. Depending on the season ornaments, sea shells, packet of flowers (forget me nots). Post By Randi (Guest Post) RE: Ideas For Unique Wedding Favors
One wedding party I attended had wine glasses with balloons tied to them and they were partially filled with either mints or hershey candy bars in gold...loved eating the chocolate. You could order personalized M & M's. Post by kghsave RE: Ideas For Unique Wedding Favors
As far as favors, we did a hershey's kiss placed in a colored plastic spoon, mesh placed over it tied with a ribbon with a tag that read "A SPOON FULL OF KISSES FROM THE MR. AND MRS." Post By Stephanie from TX (Guest Post) |
