Underarm OdorBy Drusilla from Ontario, CA Feedback About This Post:RE: Underarm Odor
This is going to sound dumb, but make sure you are washing your underarms really good in the shower. Scrub them hard with a good antibacterial soap and keep your underarms clean shaven as the hair can hold odors. Post by veda815 RE: Underarm Odor
I read there are pills but I forgot what it was called! it started with the letter "O". If I think of it later I will let you know! Post by melody_yesterday RE: Underarm OdorMy mom had the same problem - only she wasn't aware of it! It was terrible, just terrible, and every time we tried to approach her about it she would cry and get offended. Finally I didn't say anything to her, I just gave her a product my m-i-l recommended, and it nipped it in the bud. It is a deodorant called "Certain Dry". It use to be drug store only, but now you can get it at wally world or any drug store. It is wonderful that you are so self aware and want to enhance yourself! Good luck dear. Post by Tripleb RE: Underarm OdorI would see a doctor before trying to take care of it on your own. Post by Maryeileen RE: Underarm OdorCheck into candida. It's usually the cause of any skin issues, including odor of any area. It's good to find out, cause if you don't address it, candida can cause cancer & many health issues that can make you miserable, even if they don't kill you. Post by c t RE: Underarm Odor
Take a Zinc supplement. 50 mg twice a day. It's pretty amazing how taking zinc can get rid of body odor. You need to take it after a meal or on a full stomach because sometimes zinc can bother your stomach. Also, once a week, do a sugar scrub on you pits to help get rid of dead skin cells. Just scrub your pits with plain sugar & a bit of soap in the shower. Also, bleach your T-shirts & wear white T-shirts under your shirts because dyes can make you sweat more. My Ex-husband had such nasty smelly feet, until I got rid of his colored socks & bought only white ones & started bleaching his socks every time I washed them & *Presto* no more odor! Bleach will make your shirts wear out quicker, but it's worth it! Post by Cyinda RE: Underarm Odor
