Source: collected from computer groups By Randa from San Marcos Tx Feedback About This Post:RE: Six Uses for Nail Polish Besides Your NailsI use nail polish to paint features on rag dolls. I bought black and blue on purpose and had some dark pink. It hasn't washed out yet. Post by Polly G RE: Six Uses for Nail Polish Besides Your NailsYou can use it to paint over the bottom of shaving cream can if you leave it in the shower. It stops it from rusting and leaving a ring on your tub. You can also waterproof matches by dipping the flammable head in the clear polish. It takes a little time, but if you think you might need some on a camping trip or water trip, it's worth it. Post By elizabeth (Guest Post) RE: Six Uses for Nail Polish Besides Your Nails
I have used nail polish to: paint plastic buttons to upgrade them - paint eyeglass frame to change color - Metallic polish to brighten up old costume jewelry, etc. Post by pamphyila RE: Six Uses for Nail Polish Besides Your NailsTake a pretty rock or shell that you or a child found at the beach and paint with clear polish. They always seem to look better wet, this keeps them this way forever! Post by michawnpita RE: Six Uses for Nail Polish Besides Your NailsI painted the hardware of a wooden toilet seat with clear nair polish. It keeps the hardware from rusting or turning green. Post by TXBetty RE: Six Uses for Nail Polish Besides Your NailsMy personal favorite is to use clear nail polish to secure buttons after sewing them on. This is especially handy when sewing buttons onto stuffed toys since they are impossible to sew back on when they fall off. A good safety feature too. Post by MartyD |
