Cantonese Dinner from very old CROCK-POT Cookbook (p.18) Post By Crickett (Guest Post) RE: Looking For Crockpot Recipes
Looking for an old Rival Crock Pot recipe for slow cooking full sized wieners with out any sauce. Then you add the hot dog buns just a few minutes before the wieners are done. Post By mrspood (Guest Post) RE: Looking For Crockpot Recipes
check out My Website, I have a couple thousand recipes, Post By Craig (Guest Post) RE: Looking For Crockpot Recipes
Try pork roast with potatoes and carrots. I put them on in the crock pot at 8 or 9 in morning and it's done around 5 or 6 (on low or using auto shift). place baby carrots in bottom, then add cut up potatoes (peeled or not). Add salt and pepper in between layers and add roast on top. Season with any seasoning or marinade you like. If you use a big enough roast, you can save the drippings and enough meat to make BBQ the next day. Just shred meat and add onion and BBQ sauce and cook on low the following day for 4 to 6 hours on low and you have two meals in one. Post by jess RE: Looking For Crockpot Recipes
You can also cook chicken in the crockpot. I put skinned breasts (w/ or w/o bones) in the crockpot pour a bottle of marinade over them, then fill up the bottle with water, shake a couple of times, and add water to pot. Lawry's makes a few good ones - in the condiment section at the grocery store. Cook on low for about 8 hours. If you happen to have the handy "auto shift" function where it is on high 2 hours, then shifts to low, then it only takes 5-6. Post by jess RE: Looking For Crockpot Recipes
My favorite thing to slow cook is an inexpensive tip roast cooked with onion soup mix in it. When it's done, make mashed potatoes and a packaged brown gravy mix. Tear up the meat and put mashed potatoes on a slice of bread then top with meat and brown gravy. Makes a great supper. Post by jess RE: Looking For Crockpot Recipes

This recipe is from the Best Of Bridge Cookbook. I make this soup all the time and I am always asked for the recipe. I have even gone to a Church Luncheon where they serve this soup every luncheon and will not give this recipe out. Post By Ann (Guest Post) RE: Looking For Crockpot Recipes

Crockpot Minestrone (from a Rival crockpot cookbook) Post By Melissa R. (Guest Post) RE: Looking For Crockpot Recipes
Here is a good recipe for Crockpot Roast Post By Connie (Guest Post) RE: Looking For Crockpot RecipesThis recipe is quick and delicious. I just open 2 cans of Cream of Chicken, (or whatever flavor your family likes) and pour it over 4 bonneless, skinless chicken breasts. Set the temp to low and when you get home, all you have to do is make rice or pasta to go with it. My family loves this. You can use any soup and any meat, tri-tip and beef stew, pork chops and applesauce...(one of my favorites). Good luck! Post By Heather (Guest Post) RE: Looking For Crockpot Recipes
My favorite crockpot recipe is very easy. It is based on a recipe my mother used to make in the pressure cooker when I was a child. Post By kathy y. (Guest Post) |
