Cute and Fun Ways to Organize Your RoomI have a small desk with 3 large and deep shelves, a 6 foot long and 4 feet wide closet, 4 shelves, a night stand with no shelves or drawers (just a big opening), a 3 drawer dresser and 3 drawers underneath my bed. I would like the organizing ideas to be cute and fun. Thanks, help from michigan Feedback About This Post:RE: Cute and Fun Ways to Organize Your RoomI need help organizing my room I share with my sister and I can't fit every piece of clothing I have in a cupboard HELP! It's cute! Post By dd (Guest Post) RE: Cute and Fun Ways to Organize Your RoomYou all rock, thanks. Post By kate (Guest Post) RE: Cute and Fun Ways to Organize Your Room
I have not tried it yet but I will let you know. Post By kate (Guest Post) need helpI really need help in organizing everything I share a room with my sister and we each have our own small closet and I cant seem to organize anything even my reading books! Help. Post By DD (Guest Post) RE: Cute and Fun Ways to Organize Your RoomThis tip really worked. Thank you so very much. Post By Anabel (Guest Post) RE: Cute and Fun Ways to Organize Your Room
I totally understand how you are feeling. I have a very small room, too much stuff, and not enough money to buy things to help organize. Post By HeyyitzHannah (Guest Post) RE: Cute and Fun Ways to Organize Your RoomI really liked all of these suggestions. you guys all rock. Post By Kelsey44 (Guest Post) RE: Cute and Fun Ways to Organize Your RoomWhat I do, is I would get rid of everything I do not wear/need. Then I'd try to organize things by putting them in cute little bins. Once you've done that, tidy the rest of your room, and make sure your clothes are all put away, and just your furniture and lamps, etc. are left. Then have your parents or someone else help you organize your furniture in another way than you did before. It gives you more comfort. After you have your furniture in a crazy fashion you like, find a main theme for your room (polka dots, stripes, buttons, animals, the ocean, etc.) and save up to by little nick knacks and bedspreads and pillows and furniture covering to match it, and VOILA! Brilliant room! Hope I helped a little! Post By Ashley (Guest Post) RE: Cute and Fun Ways to Organize Your RoomWhat I do is take regular boxes then go to a craft store and buy cloth then staple the cloth onto the box. After I did that then I go on the computer an type whatever is on that box then staple it to it. For more ideas you can go to www.makingfriends.com and look what is on that website. It tells you what you need and how to make it. Hope that this helps. Post By Not Telling (Guest Post) RE: Cute and Fun Ways to Organize Your Room

PLEASE HELP ME Post By Enter your name. (Guest Post) RE: Cute and Fun Ways to Organize Your RoomThis is not really cleaning, but I take any junk around my room (you know, small things) and I put them in shoe boxes and I put the shoe boxes under my bed. Sometimes i write on the lid whats inside so I can take a box and check the list to see if what I want is inside. Post By maggie (Guest Post) RE: Cute and Fun Ways to Organize Your Room
One thing I have learned is that clothes are one of the main problems people have in their bedrooms. So here are some tips: Post By ambi (Guest Post) RE: Cute and Fun Ways to Organize Your Room THE BEST TIPS EV
Okay! So your room is: Messy, unorganized, boring, too dark, dull...too kiddish, too mature, sad, been the same FOREVER, no room, doesn't fit you., ugly, smells bad, or just looks like a tornado crashed through your room! I HAVE THE ANSWERS! Post By Destiny (Guest Post) RE: Cute and Fun Ways to Organize Your Room
My room is very messy! I have a lot of Junk I want to keep too! So, I just put everything in one big pile on my bed...then i sort the big pile into three smaller piles: Post By Cotton-Camie (Guest Post) RE: Cute and Fun Ways to Organize Your Room
Hey, I know exactly what you are going through. I feel like I have so much stuff that it won't all fit in my room, but I need to keep most of it. Even though I'm sure you've heard some of these here's a list of my best tips: Post By Chelsea (Guest Post) RE: Cute and Fun Ways to Organize Your RoomMy parents say- just clean it! I know how you feel, though even cranking up some tunes can get boring. Instead, I have a reward. if you want, go out and get yourself a reward, and make a game to go along. If you make a list of everything in your room, not like every little detail, but clothes, writing utensils, paper, that stuff, and then as you clean, write "two points" or whatever next to it. In the end, add up your points, and give yourself that many of the prize, whether the prize is candies or even organizing boxes and baskets, remember, cleaning can't always be fun, but it sure is worth it! This way you can pass time, and your parents wont yell at you for having it be messy. Good luck! Post By mercedes (Guest Post) RE: Cute and Fun Ways to Organize Your RoomI have the same problem, but the worst part is my family isn't the wealthiest family on the block, if ya know what I mean. So I have to make my room look cute by just making things look good myself, if your walls are dull and you can't paint them, cut out picture from magazines and put them on your wall. Get rid of anything you haven't used or worn in the last 4 or 5 months, unless its absolutely important to you. Rearrange your furniture, invite a friend to help, that way it will be fun. Put on music, do anything to get you in the mood for it. Post By Audrey (Guest Post) RE: Cute and Fun Ways to Organize Your RoomEvery year do a major clean. Empty the room completely clean every thing, sort everything and get new boxes and organizing tools from the department store. Play music too, it really does help the time pass. It takes a while but it's worth it then do smaller cleans throughout the year. I do it every December. It's always feels nice to start a new year with a clean room. Post By balnk_canvas (Guest Post) RE: Cute and Fun Ways to Organize Your RoomI used to have that problem. First you ask your parents if you can go to target or like k mart and buy a lot of cute boxes small to big. then invite some of your good friends to come and help you reorganize your room and decorate it. This is a fun and social way to do things and I hope it work. ps. your can buy a organizer at target for your closet witch really helped my room. I mean it! :) hope it works :))) Post By Kirsten (Guest Post) RE: Cute and Fun Ways to Organize Your RoomI have the same problem! I am constantly organizing but my room is never organized! Plus, during the week, I don't have enough time to keep up with the mess that builds up! Anyway, I have some tips. First, I would suggest rearranging your closet often so that stuff never builds up in piles without you knowing. Also, set off specific areas of your room for homework stuff, music stuff, clothing stuff, jewelry, etc. Use creative boxes for things. Put pencils in jars, and repaint old things for new purposes. Post By I know how you feel (Guest Post) RE: Cute and Fun Ways to Organize Your RoomYou should act as if you were moving and put your stuff in (Decorated) boxes. Also put on some music. Do one thing at a time or you'll just have a bigger mess. Hope this helps! Post By danielle (Guest Post) RE: Cute and Fun Ways to Organize Your Room

I'm 13 and I've had the same problem, but here's some ideas that I have used: Post By Abby (Guest Post) RE: Cute and Fun Ways to Organize Your RoomAll you have to do is put on some music and get to work. It was make it seem like a breeze. Post By Enter your name. (Guest Post) RE: Cute and Fun Ways to Organize Your Roomi have way too many clothes and not enough room. i have a walk in closet but there still isn't. enough room i try everything i can to keep organized but i cant' find a single thing .i have a desk, a bunk bed, and a dresser with 5 drawers .i have a desk with 4 drawers. i have 2 chests and not a lot of storage area i still have boxes in my closet full of stuff from when i was younger and now i have stuff from now. help me. Post By Gina (Guest Post) RE: Cute and Fun Ways to Organize Your Roomi was a really messy person when i was younger, then just one day i took everything off my shelves, and out of my draws. my mom was not to happy with the mess i made but i got rid of at least 10 bags of garbage and then 12 bags of just stuff. after that i have been sooo neat and clean. the biggest things are (1) is when you take something out just dont throw it on the floor or shelve put it back!! (2) put things that are the same togeter: tacks - put them all in a little jewlrey box drawer, pen/pensils- get an old coffee mub and put them all in the mug and put them on a desk or shelf. good luck ! Post By lola (Guest Post) RE: Cute and Fun Ways to Organize Your RoomI would buy some baskets and line them up in my closet on the floor to store books and other stuff that is needed! I have alot of junk I love and want to keep so it made my room messy! All you have to do is buy them a good store to buy storage bins from is www.pbteen.com they always have stuff that is neat! when you get there go to accesories then go to basket and bins! They have all kinds to match any room color! Hope this helps! Post By hensley (Guest Post) RE: Cute and Fun Ways to Organize Your RoomI had the exact same problem! What I did is I took a bunch of my stuff and put it into my attic, that way if I ever need any of it I can just go in the attic and get it out! Then I put shelves up behind my clothes in my closet to put stuffed animals, books, etc. on. I rearranged my room to where I can have lots of room for other storage if needed. I also made sure I always clean up my room! Hope This Helps! Post By Pretty_In_Pink (Guest Post) RE: Cute and Fun Ways to Organize Your RoomMy rooms a mess too and the best way to clean its is start with the clothes and then the trash! Post By Same here (Guest Post) RE: Cute and Fun Ways to Organize Your RoomYou should just leave it there and see what your parents say! HEHE I am just kidding I think that the idea on where you put them in boxes and then stack them up on top on each other to create a look was really cute. But I am moving now and I just threw away A BUNCH of stuff. So I think that you should go through your stuff one more time and see if there is anything else you can get rid of and if not then go and buy a lot of boxes, decorate them, put your stuff in them and then stack them on top of each other to make it look cute! :-P Post By Susan Remberland (Guest Post) RE: Cute and Fun Ways to Organize Your RoomWell I'm having the same problem. I'm moving soon and I'm really stressed because I have never moved before. So what I suggest for people that are moving and want to organize is write a list of all you things and pack one thing every day to make it easier. Post By jenna niehuas (Guest Post) RE: Cute and Fun Ways to Organize Your Room
1. Folding your clothes up and putting them in your draws, gives you more room to put lots more clothes in, than just throwing clothes in. 2. Get little cute boxes, and put your shoes in them, 3. As for belts and scarfs, get a basket and put them in it and then just place the basket in your closet. 4. For necklaces, braclets, rings, and earrings, buy those small boxes with loads of draws. They are not that expensive and they look great in your room! 5. If you have too much clothes get a big plastic bag and put your winter (or summer) clothes in it and keep them in your attic. :D Anyway i hope these tip have helped you! Post By hannah_xoh_17 (Guest Post) RE: Cute and Fun Ways to Organize Your RoomI have the same problem...what do is basically what everybody else is sayin...jus use boxes and popcorn tin cans (u kno the huge ones) and in stead of throwin the top off if it doesnt fit, just sit it under the can and add some sand or pretty pepples to make it look nice! Hope you get thru it! Post By A friend (Guest Post) RE: Cute and Fun Ways to Organize Your Room
What a great kid you are for wanting to organize your bedroom! My 13 year old daughter and I suggest the following ideas for your domain - Post By June (Guest Post) RE: Cute and Fun Ways to Organize Your RoomBoxes laid on their sides are great for keeping your room neat, but stll being able to get at everything easily and quickly. Whenever you or your parents receive something in a sturdy box, either cover the inside & outside of the box in wrapping paper or paint the inside and outside. As you get more, stack them in fun ways - you'll have lots of great cubbies of different sizes and no more complaints from the parents about a messy room! Post By Connie Brown (Guest Post) RE: Cute and Fun Ways to Organize Your Room
There are hangers that hold 5 or 6 pairs of pants or skirts which should save some closet space. For all of the little things you can get a shelf system and use baskets on the shelves to hold things, add a curtain if you want to hide the baskets. cookwie is right, everything should have a home, if it doesn't then it is clutter. http://www.FLYlady.com has some great ideas on how to handle clutter. Post by lindaljh1 RE: Cute and Fun Ways to Organize Your RoomCute boxes or whatever would keep it from looking cluttered. Look around at garage sales and get some that are covered and you could stack them. Could you hang a coordinating curtain of some kind over the front of your nightstand so you could use it for unseen storage? Or just put some cute boxes/baskets there to hold things. Not real original ideas I have, but hope you find a solution that works for you. Post By Dede Payne (Guest Post) RE: Cute and Fun Ways to Organize Your Room
If you put something back after you take it out and decide not to use it, you will never create any mess. Post by cookwie |
