Inexpensive, Healthy Snack Mix

I make my own trail mix snack baggies with 1/2 cup multi bran chex, a couple tablespoons of dried cranberries and a dozen or so almonds. It is not as fattening as the prepackaged trail mix, you can also add some cheerios and raisins. My husband likes to keep snack baggies of this in his desk for the afternoon dip in energy.

RE: Inexpensive, Healthy Snack Mix

Bobbie, this sounds good....but how do you keep this stuff from getting soggy? I mean the stuff that should be crisp, ends up soft. Atleast when I made my own snack mix, that's what happened. I put in a big tupperware container like the recipe said but within a short while, it all was soft and not good that way!
