Cat Pee Odor on a BedBy Willy F. from Penticton, BC Feedback About This Post:RE: Cat Pee Odor on a BedOur cat peed on our brand new mattress. I moistened the area with a small amount of water and spread baking soda - almost to a paste consistency - on the mattress. I let that dry and then vacuumed it up. Although I could not smell any oder, I still worried that the odor would come back, so I called our carpet cleaning service and they came out and cleaned the mattress just like they do couches. Nose to the mattress and NO odor. Post by EIW RE: Cat Pee Odor on a BedGo to your local per store and tell them what your problem is. They will have the liquid that is sold there to remove the smell of any animal's urine. Good luck and keep us posted. Post by Paula Jo Carr RE: Cat Pee Odor on a BedYour best bet to shield the odor and prevent your mattress from further soiling is to invest in a good plastic sheet. Post by rightbraind |
