Reducing The Smell From Oil Based Paint

My husband is painting the kitchen trim with an oil base paint. Does anyone know how to help with the smell? Thanks!

Believe it or not but sliced onions in a bowl of ice water placed in the room being painted removes the odor of paint....and you won't smell the onions either.

Before you paint next time, add a few drops of vanilla extract.

Fresh air and fans, even in cool weather. Shut off that room and open the windows for a few hours. Put in a couple fans.
