Candy SharingBy Martha from Metairie, LA Feedback About This Post:RE: Candy SharingAlso, local Children's charities are often looking for Easter basket donations. You can call your local newspaper or Chamber of Commerce to find out where they are. My mom and I have a tradition of making a couple dozen simple baskets, full of candy and toys (from Big Lots, or dollar stores, or leftovers from our family baskets) and bringing them over to ACE, or the Alliance for Children's Enrichment. Certain charities may have specific guidelines, so always call beforehand. Have fun! And realize that you're providing a gift for a child that would otherwise have nothing. Post by Beth - MA |
