Removing Ink From Your HandsRay from Palm Harbor, FL Feedback About This Post:RE: Removing Ink From Your HandsI don't care what anyone says. The Diluted Beach is the Best. I just got the blue toner Ink off my hands after trying Alcohol, soaps, cleaners, etc. Thank goodness I saw this site. Bleach is king! Post By Russ B. (Guest Post) RE: Removing Ink From Your Hands400 grit wet/dry automotive sandpaper (use it wet) works great and you're hands will feel as smooth as a baby's cheek! Post By CK (Guest Post) RE: Removing Ink From Your HandsI used Milton! Worked a treat :-) Post By Lisa (Guest Post) RE: Removing Ink From Your HandsTHANK YOU! Used my pen the wrong way and boy did it make a mess! Guess I won't do that again; and if I do, I'll know how to clean it up. Thanks so much! :) Post By Cris R. (Guest Post) RE: Removing Ink From Your HandsFirst time ink jet cartridge re filler, didn't follow directions, no gloves, lots of ink on hands, paint thinner no good, goop automotive hand cleaner not much, diluted bleach fantastic and cheap. Thanks for the heads up. Post By John T. (Guest Post) RE: Removing Ink From Your HandsMany Blesssings! I had cartridge ink on my hands. I tried rubbing alcohol it didn't work. Bleach took it off instantly. Make sure you dilute and wash hands afterwards. Thanks again. 9/1/08 Post By Jackie Baynes (Guest Post) RE: Removing Ink From Your HandsGot ink on my hands while refilling my printer (though I could do it without gloves on), I had large stain of black ink all over my hand, the diluted bleach WorKed!!! Amazing! thank you :o) Post By name (Guest Post) RE: Removing Ink From Your HandsBleach is the ticket for getting computer ink off you hands. Post By deb (Guest Post) RE: Removing Ink From Your HandsThe rubbing alcohol suggestion worked like a charm. If I had known about this in college, I would have had a lot more fun. Thanks so much. Depending upon how much and if it is in patches (like a pen bursting on one area of your skin, or like stripes...I say Hand Sanitizer works wonders. I sometimes write things on my hand when I am not near any paper, and the Sanitizer gets it off straight away. I have heard Lava soap works, GOOP (and its cousins) works. Just be sure if you have sensitive skin that you test on a small area first. Post By KLS8800 (Guest Post) RE: Removing Ink From Your HandsHair spray supposedly takes off ballpoint pen ink. Full-strength bleach takes off computer printer ink quickly. Wash your hands thoroughly after using the bleach and use lots of hand lotion to restore the moisture. Post by Jantoo RE: Removing Ink From Your HandsEither hand lotion or baby wipes will usually get it off, if you HAVEN'T washed your hands. Post by DiJones |
