Butter Stain on Leather Chair

Can someone tell me the best way to remove a butter stain from my Sweetheart's favorite leather chair? I have thought perhaps cornstarch or baking soda to get excess?

Thank you so much,

Sherri - Ga

Try baby powder.

Cleaning butter, oil or grease from leather: Wipe leather with a clean cloth, and leave alone. The oil will be absorbed by the leather. DO NOT APPLY WATER. Also, do not use saddle soap, cleaning solvents, furniture polish, oils, varnish, abrasive cleaners, ammonia or any other type of chemical solution.

I think using cornstarch to soak up the butter would be better than baking soda. I'd let it sit there a while, then follow with some more if the stain is still there.
