Bake Your Bacon

When bacon goes on sale stock up the freezer as it freezes fine. Then when ready to use just thaw it out, place on cookie sheets and bake in the oven on 350 degrees till crisp-no yucky splatters to clean up.

Tedsmom, paper towel could make a really bad grease fire in the oven if it were to catch on fire!

Another tip -- line the cookie sheets with heavy duty aluminum foil for an easy clean-up. When bacon is done, drain on paper towels. Also, cooked bacon freezes well.

RE: Bake Your Bacon

This is an excellent idea; however, wouldn't it be better to put paper towel under the bacon the absorb all the grease?
