Soap Stain on Microfiber

My 3 year old son squirted liquid soap (softsoap) on the cushions of my microfiber sofa. I blotted the soap with a clean towel, but it left huge stains on the cushions. Any idea how to get rid of the stains?

RE: Soap Stain on Microfiber

Hi Tonya,

A professional upholstry cleaner told me that microfiber cushion covers can be removed and washed on a gentle cycle in a washing machine using cold water. Line dry.

To get the soap out, you might try running the cover through the rinse cycle and don't add any soap.

Hope this helps.
