Caring for a 6 Week Old Puppy
Taylor from Oklahoma City, OK Feedback About This Post:RE: Caring for a 6 Week Old PuppyI don't have any advice, I just wanted to tell you how adorable he looks. Don't you just love puppy smell! Best of luck. Post By Enter your name. (Guest Post) RE: Caring for a 6 Week Old Puppy
Your six week old is very young and training may have to be paper training for a start. Please don't reprimand him. He is way too young. He shouldn't have been taken from his mom until he was eight weeks old. Stay at it. Stay calm and compliment him all the time. Puppy pee doesn't stain or smell. Post by Dorie RE: Caring for a 6 Week Old PuppyHow Cute! Take him out every hour. Keep track of the times when he goes potty. Always take him out after he has ate, or woke from a nap. Keeping track of the time he goes and how many times he goes will help you keep him on a schedule. Puppies are just like babies. They need a schedule. After 3 or 4 days you should have a good idea of when he should be taken out. Also if you have carpet, don't give him free run of the house until he is house broken. Large dogs are a lot easier to house train than small dogs. Good luck. Give him lots of love and attention. Post by Danialle | |
