Generic Zyrtec is Not as GoodBy Jamish from Leoti Feedback About This Post:RE: Generic Zyrtec is Not as GoodI have chronic hives and decided to get generic Zyrtec instead of the name brand. I had hives all over me and when I went back to the name brand the hives went away. I was surprised! Post By Sandi (Guest Post) RE: Generic Zyrtec is Not as Good
We always use generic OTC medications, usually Wal-mart without having any problems. When I have any doubt about it, I always ask the pharmacist who is always helpful. But I do understand what you mean. Many years ago when our son had to take presciption asthma medication, he could not use the generic brand. He had terrible side effects. The pharmacist told me that while the main ingredients in the generic substitutes are the same, the "fillers" in the medication will sometimes effect people differently.
