Removing Furniture Polish from a LCD Screenrolandjams from Scotland Feedback About This Post:RE: Removing Furniture Polish from a LCD ScreenI would try a Mr. Clean eraser, it works for crayons also! Post By Matt (Guest Post) RE: Removing Furniture Polish from a LCD Screen
I have a LCD wide screeen TV and I had no luck with the commercial LCD cleaners. There were all sorts of streaks all over it. I used regular old rubbing alcohol with a very soft microfiber cloth (an eyeglass cleaning cloth would also work well) and it looks brand new. I have exactly the same problem. I returned from holiday to find out that my fianceé had thoughtfully (but dim-wittedly) cleaned my brand new LCD TV with furniture polish! Genius! If either of these two methods work for you Roland, please contact me and let me know asap. Thanks, Pete, Leeds. Post By Pete (Guest Post) RE: Removing Furniture Polish from a LCD ScreenI would get the stuff they sell to clean LCD computer screens. Post by Lynn RE: Removing Furniture Polish from a LCD ScreenI would try some plain old rubbing alcohol on a soft cloth. Just make sure it isn't dripping wet when you try it. However, being unfamiliar with LCD TV's this may not be an option. Just a suggestion. Post by 1burrell |
