Water Spots on Bathroom Fixtures

I have problems with lots of white calcium on the tub faucets and the shower head and drain. Does anyone have any home remedies to remove the tough buildup?

I've seen CLR advertised and it is supposed to be safe and work. I'd prefer a home remedy, but it really needs to work. I'm just saying that I tried lemon juice and baking soda to clean the tub and it didn't work. Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you much.

Yes, use a diluted shampoo and wipe with this. I use a cheap .99 shampoo and do my whole tub surround and fixtures. Works like a charm and no harmful chemicals. It removes soap scum and hard water marks.

I tried everything, then suddenly one day I thought about trying steel wool (SOS or Brillo). It worked great!

Try plain white vinegar. Put paper towels on flat surfaces and saturate them. Allow this to sit overnight. For faucets and showerheads, put some paper towels or napkins in a plastic bag, add vinegar. Attach to the showerhead/faucet with a rubberband or string. Leave overnight. HTH
