Water Spots on Bathroom FixturesI've seen CLR advertised and it is supposed to be safe and work. I'd prefer a home remedy, but it really needs to work. I'm just saying that I tried lemon juice and baking soda to clean the tub and it didn't work. Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you much. Yes, use a diluted shampoo and wipe with this. I use a cheap .99 shampoo and do my whole tub surround and fixtures. Works like a charm and no harmful chemicals. It removes soap scum and hard water marks. Post by Dorie RE: Water Spots on Bathroom FixturesI tried everything, then suddenly one day I thought about trying steel wool (SOS or Brillo). It worked great! Post by Southern Saver RE: Water Spots on Bathroom FixturesTry plain white vinegar. Put paper towels on flat surfaces and saturate them. Allow this to sit overnight. For faucets and showerheads, put some paper towels or napkins in a plastic bag, add vinegar. Attach to the showerhead/faucet with a rubberband or string. Leave overnight. HTH Post by OliveOyl |
