Nail Polish on Plastic

I got some nail polish on my daughter's American Girl doll. How do I get the dried nail polish off?

Just about any type of cooking oil or olive oil will do the trick to remove nail polish from plastics...just put a drop or two on and around nailpolish and gently scrap nailpolish off with your own fingernail and dull edge of knife. Good luck. Sorry about the time lapse.
