RE: Looking for Paper Mache Instructions

Hey we have done paper mache for years, like 20+.

We have always used flour and water, the only time you need white glue or wall paper paste etc. is if you are working with a paper pulp or doing fine detail.

Just mix about 1/4 cup flour in a quart of warm water and tear some news paper into strips you can use balloons paper plates plastic cups ANYTHING for your form, we use alot of duct tape to get a jump start. Dont make your layers to thick and let each layer dry good, you can make any shape and decorate with a lot of different things. My kids always liked painting them with poster paint.

Let each layer dry good and don't make them to thick,

you can use white glue, water and paper. The process involves mixing two parts of the white glue with one part of fairly warm water and then stirring properly to produce the paper mache paste. After this, dip your pieces of paper in the paste and apply them to the chosen shape.
