Websites That Don't Require a Credit Card

I'm wanting to start my Christmas Shopping early. Does anyone have any good sites to use that doesn't require a credit card or check credit. A buy or order now pay later. Thanks.

lTD commodities does require a credit card & ABC distributing. Bill me later dot com checks your credit on the spot, and if you have bad credit you will be turned down right then and there. Figis don't ask for your social security # if you apply online, but I applied online and got a letter saying they couldn't approve me for credit and I only tried to order one thing at a small price.

You can buy a prepaid VISA card at any 7-11 store. You can load them with as much money as you'd like. But, a WARNING: read the fine print because they can "loose" money if you keep them to long... Some loose so much per month if not used & some cards can expire after one or two years. So read the fine print!

The nice thing about these prepaid VISA's is that you don't have to worry about someone else using your debit or credit card or stealing your number as they are only used for one or 2 purchases, unless you choose to reload the same VISA card. Then you'll have the same number. But, if you loose one of these credit cards, it's like loosing cash. I doubt if they have the same guarantees as regular bank-card VISA's do.

I love LTD buy now play later. You do need a business name.

Figi's is a great gift catalog. You are almost always given pre-approval for credit. I just purchased several items from them and I don't pay anything until February.

I love using Bill Me Later to pay for things online. Multiple websites utilize this payment method, including Amazon.com and DeepDiscount.com. Bill Me Later is like an extended line of credit; they approve you, your account is charged and they send you a paper or email statement at the end of the month. So simple! Check out the stores Bill Me Later uses: http://shopping.billmelater.com/index.html?s_kwcid=billmelater

I don't like using credit cards online... heard too many bad stories. But we just recently tried the "buy up front" credit card and it works great! We started with only $25 and used it for itunes and other little things, and didn't have any problems. Just today I got another one ($100) and started my christmas shopping online on my lunch break :) We buy the cards at our local 7-11, and there is an activation fee for the card ($5.95). Very convenient and I recommend them to anyone!!!

I also don't feel comfortable using my credit card online, no matter "how safe" the site says that it is. My daughter suggested to me that I "buy" a credit card: in other words, I go to Walmart, pay $100.00 to the cashier at the check out, then the card can be used online in place of a regular credit card. If someone hacks the number or something, they can't clean you out like they would if it were a regular charge card. Also, the card is rechargeable when the dollar limit has been used up. I haven't done this yet, but I plan to. If anyone else has any experiences buying online this way, I would love your input, good or bad. Thanks.
