Advice for a Puppy With ParvoI took them all to the vet, but only one was treated. She is the one that passed, her name was Blackie. She was a cute little chihuahua. Well the vet did not treat the other two, because they were not showing signs yet, so I took them home. The day Blackie passed, one of my other little pups (her name is Brownie) started showing signs, I've been treating her with the same meds the vet gave me for Blackie and I have been giving her pedialyte . She's going on her third day of not eating and once in a while she throws up, but I give her meds for that, yesterday she started drinking water on her own. There are times when she looks good and she is a little active and then there are other times that she looks depressed and she just lays there. What else can I do to help her? Do dogs get fevers, and if so what can I do for her? I have one other pup named Boy, he seems to be just fine. Should I separate them? I separated Blackie from the other 2, but one still got sick. How long does recovery last and can they still get worse even if they look like they are improving? The pups are 5 months old. Can someone give me advice? I can't go through another loss. Hello, I had a sick pekingese puppy that I had taken to the vet and walked out $200.00 later that day with a sick puppy that was going to die so I found a lady that sold natural antibotics, one was called Parvaid and the other is called Vibactra...I started using them and she snapped right out of it. These antibotics are not just for parvo they work on alot of things...very good for diarrhea problems. Giving Pedialyte is very inpotant to always give with a sick pet. They are the best products I have ever had and now I wouldn't ever be without them. I read the ladies post about not using natural products and I have no idea what she tried but I've seen these two products work wonders over and over again. They can be purchased online. Really great products! Post by whisler744 RE: Advice for a Puppy With Parvo
I would suggest you to try MMS on your puppy. It kills pathogens in humans and pets such as bacteria, virus and fungus. It is highly effective, but not FDA approved. The inventor of MMS has cured over 75,000 persons with malaria in Africa and he says it does so in just 3 hours. I personally use it and know of many with chronic illness using it and give it to my 7 cats and 2 dogs weekly. Never a problem with it. Post by lindal RE: Advice for a Puppy With ParvoI would like to update on a recent post about my dog Blackie that passed of parvo. My other 2 dogs are doing very well. My pup Brownie is active and playful and is eating and drinking water. My other pup Boy is also doing very well. I hope they will never get sick again. Good luck to anyone dealing with a pup with parvo. With lots of love and patience they will overcome it. CPez Post by cpez RE: Advice for a Puppy With Parvo
