Musty Smell on Leather Chairs

My office chair is leather and about 3 years old and I am trying to get rid of a musty odor. I've tried wiping it down with oxi clean, Fantastik and fabreeze every night for the past week and nothing has helped. I can still smell it. What can I use that is strong to remove the odor?

RE: Musty Smell on Leather Chairs

To both Robert & Nadya,
If your furniture smells like mildew or shows signs of mold growth, means that your furniture was either kept in a damp place one time or the other. Mold is like a cancer growth and can damage the leather if left to grow and take over the hide as a food source. You both have to clean your leather very thoroughly. First wear protective gloves and goggles before applying removal. Do this outdoors if permitted, in order not to spread the mold spores inside. Pre-vac all areas very good before you wipe the surface down. Clean leather with Leather Master Strong Cleaner and Leather Master Mold Killer, then apply Leather Master Protection Cream if either leather is Aniline or Pigmented leather. If your leather is Nubuck or suede, apply Leather Master Eco Protector.
