Selling Magazinesmsparker Feedback About This Post:RE: Selling MagazinesI think it depends on what type of magazine and who's on the cover. If they have a hot celebrity on the cover, consider keeping the magazine in mint condition and selling it on ebay. I once bought a Vanity Fair magazine with Angelina Jolie on the cover for $4.49, read it and decided it was much too beautiful to just to toss out. I sold it on Ebay for $5. Remember that lots of people collect celebrity memorabilia like myself and I'd gladly pay a few dollars for a mint condition magazine with my favorite celebrities on the cover such as Brad Pitt or Kurt Cobain. Amazon.com also lets you post certain issue magazines for sale such as Glamour magazine as a single issue. Post by maliboo99 RE: Selling Magazines
we get them here sometimes at garage sales in packs of 6/$1 or 5c ea. Post by melody_yesterday RE: Selling Magazines

I myself have bought retired editions of different magazines from e-bay. Probably better to sell in lots, so you don't lose money on listing and final value fees. Good Luck! I recently read that if you make out the long form when preparing your yearly income tax forms that you can take a deduction of 50 cents per magazine if you donate it to a charity such as SALVATION ARMY, GOODWILL, ETC. Just make sure that you fill out a receipt that they will sign & return to you for your records. Post By joesgirl (Guest Post) RE: Selling MagazinesI have had some luck selling home and garden magazines at garage sales. Usually can get 50 cents for them. Well under what I pay for them but Magazines don't have much resell value. Some magazines you can hardly give away at a garage sale. Post By Joe (Guest Post) RE: Selling MagazinesI don't know about selling them unless you take them to a consignment shop or go to ebay. However, I might make the suggestion that if you don't sell them that you take them to nursing homes or hospital waiting rooms. There seems to be a great need at those type of places.
