Removing Mildew Smell From items After Traveling

I just returned from Jamaica and all of my clothes, suitcases, shoes, purse, etc all smell like must/mildew. I have washed, Febrezed, and sunned. Please help with any recommendations.

Those that can handle some bleach in the washwater, it works. The suitcases can be closed up with a dryer sheet inside for a day or two.

There is a product called Sol-U-Mel that can get the smell out of about anything. I have been using it for 3 years. If you want info on how to get some just contact me at csnydermom AT nc.rr.com.

Plain unscented clay kitty litter is suppose to remove mildew smells. Try storing your items with a sock full of kitty litter for a few days.
