I had the same prolem in my house. Boil white vinegar on a campstove. It works like magic. You have to do it a few times - boil for a couple hours.

I've always heard of soaking the skunk scented area in tomato juices helps get rid of the smell. I've never tried it. Best of Luck!!

Using the same method that you use to get the skunk smell off of a dog might work.

If Your Dog Gets Skunked

To remove the stink: Mix 1 quart of 3-percent hydrogen peroxide with 1/4 cup of baking soda and 1 teaspoon of mild dishwashing detergent (make sure it doesn't contain bleach or ammonia). Rub this mixture all over your dog's coat. Prevent it from getting into your pet's eyes or ears. Then give your pooch a bath with a mild pet shampoo. Rinse well.

I'd try just spritzing the solution around under the cabin. Couldn't hurt. Good luck

If I understand correctly the only thing that really gets rid of the odor causing chemicals from skunk spray is oxidation --exposure to air and light. Light will be nearly impossible but probably isn't as important as getting air moving under that cabin. I'd try several big fans placed in the crawl space or basement, open all ventilation places and let nature do her work.

Ok my Dad hit a skunk in his car and it was all over the engine compartment the under carriage and everything. So he sprayed the whole car with this stuff called Smells B-Gone and it took all the smell from the car. It was bought from Amway. But Amway is not Amway any more it is called something else. But I am sure you can find the product some were. I think that is the correct spelling with the hyphen. I will check with them and if it is not right I will repost. Good luck. I have even used it in our camper and it is awsome. A racoon got in and made a home. Not a smell left that they left behind.

Hi Mike,

I was in the pet-store yesterday, and noticed that Nature's Miracle now makes a skunk spray removal product. I use their product for removing cat urine/ feces from fabric, and it works like a charm. It breaks nasty things down into scentless byproducts using enzymes and bacteria. A fair sized bottle costs about $15 here in Canada.
