Treating a Fire Ant Sting

If you are ever stung by a fire ant, use vinegar to stop the itch..

Being new to Florida I have found this really works.

I've always found that stepping on the little bugger and then running like heck has always worked for me. ANd when I've finished cursing I put hydrogen peroxide on it followed up with calamine lotion.

RE: Treating a Fire Ant Sting

I've always used Hydrogen Peroxide to treat fire ant stings. It immediately takes the sting out & helps the white looking sore heal up very fast. My husband, being from the country, taught me this when we got married. I didn't think it would work until I tried it, & it really does work. Leslie
