Using Vintage Doll House as Paper Organizer

For the vintage little girl in all of us, use your old, err I mean, vintage open backed multi-storied doll house as a paper organizer on your desk. Looks cute and each "room" can be labeled or decorated accordingly.

I love that, "the vintage little girl in all of us". I still "play" with my dollies and just get pleasure looking at them.

RE: Using Vintage Doll House as Paper Organizer

My Dad made me a wood doll house when I was three years old That was 60 years ago. .It had linoleum tile in kitchen & bath. Hardwood in living & dining room and carpet everywhere else also wallpapered walls..It has a red roof. My mom made curtains and made or bought doll house furniture at the time.I still have my doll house. It is two feet in depth by 3 feet wide and two stories high.
It has 7 rooms. On my desk? I don't know if it would fit.

It sure brings back a lot of memories. Good Ones Come to think of it I don't know who had the most fun. Dad, Mom or me.

RE: Using Vintage Doll House as Paper Organizer

that's a cute idea thanks !
do you have a pic of yours on your desk being used now? I would like to see it because my memory of these doll houses isn't very clear right now so getting a visual of the size of it in my mind isn't working very well.
