Crocheted Puppet Doll on a Granny Square

I am looking for a crocheted puppet doll crocheted to a granny square. You can put your hand in the puppet and the other hand under the granny square and make it look like a real baby is moving. I had one years ago but lost it. Can anyone help me?

I have it - I just joined another forum today and asked for it, and got it. I couldn't believe it when I saw it :) I made one years ago for my daughter but lost the pattern - I've been searching for some time for it. If you send me your email address, I'll send it to you.

RE: Crocheted Puppet Doll on a Granny Square

Hello! I'm a grandma-to-be and am already crocheting items for the new baby. Years ago made this crocheted puppet baby doll for my own children, but no longer have the pattern. May I get a copy too? I am more than happy to pay your for copying and postage!

RE: Crocheted Puppet Doll on a Granny Square

Katie, I have the puppet doll you're talking about in a blanket but I don't think it's a granny square cause it's been a while since I looked in my stash of books. I'd be willing to copy and mail to you if you would trust me to do that. What the heck. all crocheters are loving. My address is 18613 Dixie Hwy, Homewood, Illinois, 60430-phone no 708-206-0835. I have a answering machine so you could leave a message and I'll call you back gladly. I do hope you'll trust me on this because of the way the world is today. But crocheters are very loving helpful people. I teach classes in my home and at Michael's craft store. Please think on this and I'll go look for the pattern as soon as you tell me to. OK?
Love and happy stitching, Juanita Schveiger
