Scorch Mark on Furniture from a Lamp

I have a scorch mark (made by a too close lamp) on the corner of a dark green leather-like recliner. I wondered how to remove it without having the whole piece re-upholstered? Could I use any type of paint or magic marker? There must be something? I'm in a panic!
