I have had problems redeeming coupons printed from the internet sites from time to time but it is seems it is more from who is checking out at the stores. I go to Krogers and Walmarts most of the time in Houston,Tx. and I get a checker from time to time that will say they do not take internet coupons but I can go in to the same stores at other times and the checker I am using takes them with no problem.
I have never seen any signs in any of the stores around here that say they do not take coupons printed from the internet.
You might check with the store manager as to why the have such a policy or check with the stores corporate office asking them the same question. Maybe if enough people complained they would consider changing their policy.
You might be able to check with the manufacturer on what stores and where to use your take their coupons or possibly getting them to redeem the coupons for you with a copy of your receipt on what you have purchased similar to a rebate offer.
You can also get coupons from companies most of the time just by calling them to talk to them about their product not just to complain about it but tell them how much you enjoy it and see if they have any promotions available on coupons, or what other types of promotions they have at the time.
You will really be surprised with what one simple telephone call will gain you from time to time and most products have a "1-800" number to contact them with any complaints, questions or comments.

I work in a retail store, and the reason, as some have stated before that some stores do not accept the coupons from the internet is because it is difficult for the cashier to verify if they are fraudulant or not.

this may not be a plausable solution. They won't have time to verify each coupon, and just because your "35 cents off on Green Giant Corn" coupon is valid, Joe Blow behind you might have a photocopy that is not. Also, often, this decision is made at the corporate level and managers are bound by this policy.
However, due to changing times, policies change often. Our store has never allowed us to accept internet coupons (and this was a corporate level policy), however, as of March 1 we will be doing so.
Keep checking back with any stores that do not currently accept them, as their policies too may change.

I have come across only one store in my area that won't accept them. When I asked the cashier why not, she didn't know. I use them at Wal-Mart all the time and various other stores.

That's great knowing how many copies the guest poster can make on a laser printer with one ink cartridge! I am jealous!
The laser printers that have all of the several capabilities that my current printer has cost a small fortune and the ink cartridges for them are far more expensive than what I pay now so in my case it would not be cost effective to replace ... Besides the ink would go bad before I could ever even make 8,000 copies ;-) But some day when this one breaks down I'll check in to them again :-)

As far as saving money, I save TONS of money on internet coupons. I have a laser printer and get over 8,000 copies per toner cartridge.
For example, I had $5 off 3 items of Johnsonville products and a rebate for spend $10, get $5 back. This is all through the INTERNET ~ My mom, aunt and friends also got this deal. It will save you a lot of money if you plan accordingly.

All your major grocery chains should have their coupon policy located on their websites. My suggestion would be to visit each website and read their policy first, then if it states that they accept all manufacturer's coupons, print off a copy and place it in your coupon organizer to show the manager at each store. At least this gives you something in hand to take your stand with. Walmart does accept coupons printed offline because it states so in their policy and I use them there every week.
If your grocery store doesn't accept internet coupons then I'd take the time to send the corporate office an email and let them hear your opinion. It never hurts to let yourself be heard! In these hard economic times the American families need every little bit of help they can get!

It is all depending on the store where you live. Redner's will use them but only if they are at a reasonable price and not from a bad site. Good luck on your search also redner's and boyer's where I live give out coupons when you are finished shopping. Thank God I have been able to save on good nights training pants and also pampers under jams too.

Stores in my town used to accept them, then one by one, they stopped, including walmarts. Then about 2 weeks ago, walmarts started accepting them again. People were complaining to their management that their store policy states that they will accept internet coupons. So I guess they had a choice, change their policy or accept them.

Personally I don't bother with printed coupons because you've not really saved any money once you factor in the cost of time, paper and ink to print them ...
About the only places that even accept them anymore where it might be worthwhile, because of large discounts, are from places like Penney's (as an example) that are printed from their own website and even then you need to read the fine print for 'exceptions/limitations' for usage :-(
