Keeping Hair Dye Off Skin
Even if I do get dye on these areas, the vaseline acts as a barrier from keeping the dye off of my skin and wipes off easily when I'm done.

I have found that St. Ives Apricot Scrub works pretty well. You have to use a lot and scrub for about 5 minutes. It took a while, but dark auburn permanent color came off my hands. For under fingernails try nail polish remover with a qtip.

I'm tell you. Tide to go pen and a scotchbrite pad (green side) takes it off in a jiffy, just have to let tide sit on skin for a quick second.

Vaseline always prevents black hair dye on your skin but also use milk on cotton wool straight afterwards. It takes off the rest.

Sometimes using vaseline on skin to keep from getting hair color on is a good idea but sometimes it may get in the hair and the color will not cover but however if you choose not to use vaseline you can use cigarette ashes and water and make a slight paste to remove the color from your skin.

Put vaseline everywhere. Rub it all over your face, in and behind your ears for your hands use rubber gloves. When dyeing hair go slow and start around the borders. You don't have to use the whole bottle if you don't think there's enough in your hair give a minute to soak and then add more if needed. GO BUY SOME STAIN REMOVER

MILK. FOR SOME WEIRD REASON MILK WORKS MIRACLES. PUT MILK IN A BOWL, AND GRAB A WASHCLOTH AND RUB THE MILK ONTO YOUR SKIN. IT TOOK OUT DARK BROWN DYE OUT OF MY SKIN. BEST OF LUCK ALL.

To remove hair dye from hands try milk on a cotton ball and dab clean.... or hydrogin peroxide soak and use a little baking soda and nail brush to brush skin and nails during soak. I hope this helps. It worked for me.

I, too, have found this or cold cream works well, but when I have my hair done at a shop, they never use either of these methods and rub, rub, and rub to get the dye off of the hair line and I have always wondered why they don't apply cold cream/vaseline>
