Yeast Infection on a Dog's PawBy Anna50 from OH Feedback About This Post:RE: Yeast Infection on a Dog's PawMy dog has suffered from a yeast problem for the past 4 years. I have visited several vets and they have all told me that she has allergies. I was fed up so I began reading on the internet on how to cure this myself. I came across this website and everything she recommends I have done and the results have been incredible. Go to www.greatdanelady.com and click on articles and read about systemic yeast infections under urgent. Get your dogs blood taken and check for thyroid issues and follow all of the kits she suggest you buy. I only wish i read that article years ago. Post by Jaymee RE: Yeast Infection on a Dog's Paw
This is long but worth reading. It is so hard to watch an animal suffer from this stuff. I have a solid white English Bull Terrier (Spuds). He was constantly chewing his paws and had a hot spot on his back. His candida load was so great that he had a seizure. Post by xzucmylife RE: Yeast Infection on a Dog's PawYogurt, it works great on yeast. Just rub it a couple times a day on each place where the yeast is present. Post by Abbygirl RE: Yeast Infection on a Dog's PawI used to dogsit a bulldog that kept a yeast infection in the fold of skin on his neck and brow area and the vet prescibed the same cream a woman uses for a vaginal yeast infection. Don't forget to clean the area well with soap and water before applying the medication. Good luck! Post by suzi_homemaker01 RE: Yeast Infection on a Dog's Paw
You said you have been doctoring him but what did the vet tell you the dog has and what to do about it? You can't just guess at how to provide basic medical care for animals anymore than you can for children. Post by dh8 RE: Yeast Infection on a Dog's Paw
My tale is long. But here goes. We have a Choc Lab (Woodrow) he is now 14 yrs young. He had chronic issues with yeast in the ears and the paws for most of his life. That is until about 7 years ago when I hunted down info on the net. Now there are stories left right an sideways about it. But back then not so much. Post by caraing |
