Quicker TeaAnna Feedback About This Post:RE: Quicker Tea
I've been making our tea this way for years! My 11 year old son can even do this easily without the risk of burning himself. Much easier and I didn't have to buy one of those expensive tea makers! :) Post by firemanswife90 RE: Quicker TeaI make my tea in the microwave. Using one family size bag, I placed two cups of water in a microwave safe/glass measuring cup and cooked until just until the bubbles of a boil begin - about 4 minutes in my old microwave. Note: do not boil/overcook as it makes the tea bitter. I let it steep for a few minutes, pour it into a pitcher and add cold water to suit my tea strength. Works great too. Mitzi Post by danig1000 |
