Steak Salad for DinnerMake a bowl of any salad ingredients on hand, portion them out, slice the steak very thinly, and let that be portioned according to people's taste, that is, small bites for children, or less for those who don't like to eat large amounts of meat. Scatter on top of salad greens. Serve with garlic bread or french bread, and dress with your favorite dressing. Source: My family is the source for our way of doing it; it was a desperation recipe. It may be done elsewhere, I don't know. By Penny from Westminster, CO Feedback About This Post:RE: Steak Salad for DinnerYup, it's great. We use leftover steak (after we've grilled, leftover grilled steak the next day is wonderful!). My kids even ask to bring it to school for lunch. I also use leftover chicken the same way.
