Homemade Lip GlossBy Cara from Farefield Feedback About This Post:RE: Homemade Lip GlossOh, goody I cant wait to share this recipe!Just put desired amount of petroleum jelly (vaseline), and a smaller amount of honey in a small bowl, put in microwave for 30 seconds, take out, check, repeat until liquid, than let it sit out for 15-20 mins :D! Enjoy! I have never tried a better more moisturizing lip gloss/balm ever. ^_^ Post by Isagirl RE: Homemade Lip Gloss
PLEASE, PLEASE!! Check out the ingredients that are in lip glosses you are using. And paying a higher price does not guarantee better ingredients. Almost every commercial lip gloss contains alcohol. The kind that dries out your lips. Some also contain harmful preservatives. Post by Painted Lady RE: Homemade Lip GlossI know when we were little we would mix pixi sticks or a bit of kool-aid powder with vaseline. I know some worked better than others, I'm sure that the koolaid worked better as a stain once the vaseline wore off! But I guess it wasnt too bad, because I don't remember anything bad about it. Re-use your empty tubes or empty gloss/balm pots ;-) Recipe: Post by Deeli RE: Homemade Lip GlossThere's almost nothing better than a good natural lip liner first, then a cheap chapped lips stick for gloss, then rub lips together gently to blend and get a clearish tint that's amazing. An actress named, Suzanne Plushette started that and was so very admired as to her beautiful lips and coloring. I believe you will be pleased. Good luck and god bless. : ) Post by lyndagayle62 RE: Homemade Lip Gloss
There are good lip glosses in drugstores that are reasonably priced so try some. Post by OliveOyl |
