Acrylic Nails React to Sun Tan LotionBy homesteaddreamer from MD Feedback About This Post:RE: Acrylic Nails React to Sun Tan LotionThanks, I guess I will try the gel nails this time. Do they give you any extra coats or anything special besides just the regular gel nails. I usually get the french manicure nails but since I am new at this I'm not always sure what to ask for. Thanks for the advice. Post by homesteaddreamer RE: Acrylic Nails React to Sun Tan LotionI have never had that problem before but now I get Gel nails instead of acrylic and that are a lot better. No turning yellow and they stay white forever. Looks like real nails. I put sunscreen on grand kids and myself and no problems at all. Post by Salbug12 RE: Acrylic Nails React to Sun Tan Lotion
The only thing I know of that will make acrylic nails gummy is acetone so do not use a self tanning or outdoor tanning lotion because they usually contain acetone of some sort so use indoor tanning lotion and use non-acetone fingernail polish remover instead of acetone polish remover.
