What kind of a bird is this? (House Finch)
Thanks! Stacey from Orem, UT Feedback About This Post:RE: What kind of a bird is this?
I know this is a house finch. Purple finches are much brighter red and a little darker, Finches like to eat black sunflower seeds, white millet and safflower. Post by Mel55 RE: What kind of a bird is this? This is a male House Finch - Not a Purple Finch. Post By PAtti (Guest Post) RE: What kind of a bird is this? It's a purple Finch. It does look like a purple finch but I don't see them as being in Utah: Post by ThriftyFun RE: What kind of a bird is this?Actually, the Purple Finch and the House Finch are 2 different species. They look very similar and this bird could be either! :) Post By A. Marin (Guest Post) RE: What kind of a bird is this?If you can find a bird book, this bird could be a house finch, also known as a purple finch.
