Picnic Games For Teens

I need help finding outside games for high school kids at a cookout. Can you help?

Bring an over sized beach ball ( 24 inch or bigger) and start to hit it back and forth. Let others join. We've done this several times and ended up with a fairly large group batting the ball around. Have a marshmallow driving contest using a real golf driver and a tee. Give a prize for the longest drive. Have an Egg Toss but use round, 6 inch water balloons.

Thanks. I really like some of these. Thanks again for taking the time to write.

How about a game of horsehoes, or a washer pitch? If you're really feeling creative, set up a mini golf course. There is also croquet, kickball, hacky sack, or Frisbee. If you want to go "retro" have the kids play games from their childhood like Red Rover, hide-n-seek, four square, or hopscotch.

If any members have outdoor games have them bring them. I don't know the names of the games I am thinking about, so I will describe them. One is a bean bag toss, you have two slanted boards with holes in them, and space the boards a certain distance apart. I think there is one hole in each board. Another one is one that has two things that kind of look like step ladders and they have(I think I heard it is golf balls) that are attached to ends of string and you toss them to see which rung of the ladder they hook over. Then of course there is volley ball and badminton. You must know some people that have some of this equipment.
