Absorbent and abrasive cat litter can help get an oil spot off the driveway Post by ThriftyFun RE: Absorbing Driveway StainsDon't be surprised, however, when using kitty litter, to find that some outside cat has made a deposit while you were gone. You may find yourself cleaning up more than you had intended! Post By Peace (Guest Post) RE: Absorbing Driveway StainsAnd for those REALLY stubborn oil stains, after the kitty litter, pour a 2 liter cola over the stain (these come for like 50 cents for the store brand) and leave it for a few hours, then hose off. The acid in the cola eats right through the oil. But be sure to use cola and not one of the other types of soda. Post by Barefoot Contessa |
