Grease Spots On Microwave

Your responses to my cabinet problem were very helpful... Thanks Now I need your help with grease spots on my microwave. No matter how much I wash it and make the outside shine I can't get rid of those tiny little grease spots. My microwave is right above my stove so when ever I fry/cook the microwave gets spots constantly. Anybody have any suggestions?

Thanks

RE: Grease Spots On Microwave

Totally worked (the WD-40). I let it sit for 5 min then it all wiped up with minimal elbow grease. Thanks for the tip.

A solution of 1 part white vinegar and 1 part water sprayed on and wiped off should do the trick.

RE: Grease Spots On Microwave

Try what I did. Spray with WD-40. Wait a few minutes, then wipe with a soft cleaning cloth. It took 5 years of built-up gunky grease off mine in only one application that nothing else would touch! I asked an expert for the technical explanation of why this would work but can't remember the answer for the life of me now. Doesn't matter ~ it still works beautifully!
