My sister was a nurse and would get ballpoint and sharpie ink on her white uniform. She always sprayed hairspray on the spots and then washed. You could never see any spots when she dried them. She also would not dry them if all of the spot didnt come out. She would spray again and wash and it always came out. Hope this helps'

Try using nail polish remover I use it to get ink off of many items at work.
