Dry Erase Problem

I have a white board that was accidently cleaned with TNT cleaning spray and it wont erase well anymore. Is there anyway to correct this besides buying an entire new board?
Thank You.

Sounds like you got this one figured out... can you help me w/my dry erase issue... mine has gotten a few chips... is there anything out there that can be used to "touch up?"

WD-40 ROCKS!!! What would the world be without WD! Worked on the board like a charm. I thought I'd have to buy a new one, but WD-40 worked it's magic again:)

RE: Dry Erase Problem

We had the same thing happen at work. I bought some cleaner made just for dry erase boards, and after we washed it with that, it went back to normal. The cleaner can be found most anywhere you can buy the boards.

They just don't make them like they used to....I bought a brand new one and the first time we used it it wouldn't erase properly.....so I cleaned it with WD-40 and now it wipes very easily....and if it starts sticking again which takes a long while then I just wipe it clean again with WD-40 and it's better than it was when it was new again.....

I don't know how to clean it, but if nothing else works and you don't want to buy a new one, you can always cover it with white contact paper. You can make your own homemade dry erase boards that way also, any shape or size. Just apply the contact paper to any firm surface like cardboard, etc.

You might try cleaning the board with alcohol, that works for me when someone uses permanent marker on a white board.
