Good Seasons Italian Salad Dressing Recipe

No more pricey store bought spice packages. ;-)

Ingredients:

  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic (pressed if you are not using a blender)
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp. dried basil
  • freshly ground pepper to taste

Directions:

Put this in a blender with 1/2 cup vinegar (red or cider) and 1 cup vegetable or olive oil and blend until smooth.

RE: Good Seasons Italian Salad Dressing Recipe

Thanks for posting the recipe. I'll have to add it with my other salad dressings.

I've been making all my own vinegar and oil salad dressings for many years because I can control the amount of sugar that I want to add to the dressing.

The only reason why I just bought two bottles of oil and vinegar dressings from the grocery store is that I needed the two small glass bottles.

I searched in the glass recyling bins in my apartment complex and I couldn't find any.
