Eczema Relief
I really don't know what to do. Does it go away? How do I treat it? It's all over my body and I'm so scared. I'm only 23 yrs old and I don't want to hide my body for the rest of my life. Please someone help me.

My son had a similar reaction. Little red sometimes itchy patches starting slowly and spreading over his entire body.
Good news! I took him to a dermatologist he suggested that it was a reaction to detergents he suggested that we rinse clothes twice in the washer and try a gently detergent. First I simply gave every load two rinses, within a week the blotches were nearly gone. Today he still rinses his clothes twice. Hopes this helps. Carla

Pretty much all skin conditions stem from candida. Work on it, it only get out of control outside the body, when it's bad inside. It can be a very hard thing to get under control. Essential fatty acids help all parts of the body.

I also had a very bad reaction from something and my face, neck, and hands were a horrible mess. This was a month ago, and I wouldn't go out because I was so self embarrassed.
I went to the doc's last Friday and after a whole month of suffering he gave me "XYZAL". This stopped the itching right away. It's powerful stuff so you only take it at night, and not when driving. He also prescribed some kind of cream. This Friday he is going to do allergy tests.
Your family doctor can do everything and you won't have to run around to different people. What did you do that's new? New pet, clothes, detergents? I wish I had gone right away and not put up with self meds.

I also get breakouts of it now and then, but if you study the info at this link you will be able to figure out what to do because you know your body and circumstances the best :-)

Bottom line, see your doctor. To self medicate can be a waste of money, not to mention dangerous. You are too young to go through life suffering. I wish you the best.

Go to a dermatologist. There are tons of things that can be done. My dermatologist has done wonders for my psoriasis (which my GP had misdiagnosed, by the way).

I know you are miserable. My husband uses African Shea Butter that I get from the health food store. It looks like a glob of real butter but thicker. Had a slight smell but he says he does not mind because it helps with the itching. I also found a product called Blis-to-Sol in the liquid form. A pharmacist gave us a bottle to try years ago to see if he would ge relief. Stores like Wal-mart and K-mart can get this but they have to order it. It is usually about $8.00 a bottle. This is an antifungal that is oily. I'm not sure if it is the oil that help or the antifungal that is in it. I have recommended this to others and they have reported it has helped them. Out of the 2 products he prefers the Blis-to-So but it is a little pricey because his entire back is affected.

If it were me, I would google eczema on the internet. I always take a bath in dawn and then rinse really good. Then I take two benadryls. Usually it helps. Also you might go to earthclinic.com and look up eczema there and try a home remedy or two.
This is about all I know. I know fish oil in capsules taken daily, helps the skin, I might start that if the skin was giving me a problem. Blessings, Racer
