Making Decorative Breads (Non-edible)Tillyburg from PA Feedback About This Post:RE: Making Decorative Breads (Non-edible)
Good tips, just what I was looking for. What kind of varnish or polyurathane do I buy? can I buy this at a hardware store or craft store. Post By Margaret (Guest Post) RE: Making Decorative Breads (Non-edible)I have made this many times, dry the bread in the oven on 150 degrees until dry and hard. Let them cool completly then spray with polyurathane. Post By shannon brown (Guest Post) RE: Making Decorative Breads (Non-edible)Back in the seventies, I used to make these out of flour and salt dough (like the kids use in grade school for art projects) but honestly a much easier solution is to go to the bakery, pick out a selection of fancy breads, air dry them and then varnish them. They are beautiful! Post By jane (Guest Post) RE: Making Decorative Breads (Non-edible)This might help you, Tillyburg: http://www.familycorner.com/homegarden/crafts/2.shtml Post by Luvyabye |
