Homemade Sweet and Sour Sauce

The best and cheapest sweet and sour sauce is homemade. Combine a jar of apricot preserves, some vinegar and cut up maraschino cherries and juice - mix in a jar and keep in the fridge. Lasts for weeks and so delicious on Chinese food, etc.
